Registration

21 – 25 June 2027 University of Exeter, United Kingdom

Registration is open.

Join us in Exeter, UK, from 21–25 June 2027 for the 12th International Carbon Dioxide Conference (ICDC12).

ICDC12 will bring together the carbon cycle community to explore where the science is heading and what it means for our understanding of the Earth system and climate change. Alongside talks from leading scientists, the conference will create opportunities for researchers at all career stages to present their research and engage with the latest science through plenary and research talks, mini workshops and poster sessions.

We want ICDC12 to be an exciting and inspiring meeting for sharing ideas, challenging each other and exploring how science can contribute to climate policy and action.

Registration fees

There are two registration fees for ICDC12:

01

Standard registration – £400

02

Concessionary registration – £200 for students and delegates from low- and lower- middle-income countries.

The registration fee includes conference attendance, access to the full conference programme and catering, including the welcome reception and conference dinner.

Concessionary registration

Our conference sponsors are helping us to make ICDC12 as accessible as possible. Their support enables us to offer a reduced registration rate for undergraduate and PhD students and delegates from low- and lower-middle-income counties.

The concessionary rate operates on a trust basis. We kindly ask delegates to select the concessionary rate only if they are eligible and the rate accurately reflects their circumstances, helping us to ensure that support is directed to those who would benefit most. We may, however, request proof of eligibility from delegates who have booked this rate if we feel that supporting evidence is required.

If you are unsure whether you are eligible for the concessionary rate, please contact the conference organisers at ICDC12@exeter.ac.uk.

We use the World Bank’s Country and Lending Groups to identify low-income and lower-middle-income economies. The countries included in these categories can be found on the World Bank website.

If the concessionary registration fee is still a barrier to your participation, please see our Funding Opportunities section for information about available sources of financial support

Funding opportunities

A limited number of opportunities are available to provide additional financial support for attendance at ICDC12, including:

  • ICDC12 Full Conference Bursaries
  • Future Earth Inclusivity and Diversity Participation Fund

We encourage anyone who may require financial support to check the eligibility criteria and apply as early as possible.

ICDC12 Full Conference Bursaries

Thanks to the support of our conference sponsors, a small number of full conference bursaries will be available for eligible undergraduate and PhD students and delegates who would otherwise face financial barriers to attending ICDC12, particularly those from low- and lower- middle-income countries.

Applications will be assessed by the ICDC12 organising committee, with a small number of applicants selected to receive full support. If you think you may be eligible, please complete this funding application form.
